⭕ Installation Basics

➥ Use the included kit that matches your reel (S / NS / D) and reuse the bearings from your original knob. Install the 30 mm knob following the diagram instructions. After assembly, confirm that all parts are clean, aligned, and spin smoothly.

⭕ Installation Tips

◉ The 30 mm knob typically uses two bearings sized 4 × 7 × 2.5 mm (ID × OD × Width).

◑ Many reels already have these inside the original knob.

◑ Some reels include one bearing + one sleeve—you can still install the knob using those parts.

◉ This 30 mm version is intended for small Shimano/Daiwa reels (1000 - 4000).

◑ If your original knob has two sleeves/bearings with OD = 7 mm and 7 mm, the UJ 30 mm is likely compatible.

◑ If the two sleeves/bearings measure 8 mm and 7 mm (OD), choose the UJ 40 mm knob with S Cup instead.
