The Ultimate Jigging 40 mm Power Round Knob Type II is CNC-machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum and Type II anodized with a modern two-tone finish. Designed in the USA, it’s stylish, lightweight, and built for saltwater use. When installed correctly, it delivers a precision fit with virtually no play (~0.01 mm).

Installs directly on the original handle shaft of many Shimano and Daiwa spinning or conventional reels. Ideal for rocky-shore float fishing, bass fishing, EGI, surf casting, and boat jigging.

 

⭕ Choose Your Cup (Compatibility Guide)

◉ NS Cup — fits newer mid-size Shimano models such as

Stella ’08–’13 5000–10000 SW, Saragosa SW 5000–10000, TwinPower.

◉ S Cup — fits earlier Shimano models such as

Stella, TwinPower, Saragosa 4000–10000F, and other Shimano conventional reels.

◉ D Cup — fits many mid-size Daiwa spinning or conventional reels.

⧳ Compatibility can vary by production year. If you’re unsure, remove the factory knob and measure the two internal parts (bearings or sleeves) by outer diameter (OD), or send us a photo.

 

⭕ Installation Tips

◉ You typically do not need extra bearings for this package—reuse your originals and follow the included diagram. Ensure all parts are clean, aligned, and spin smoothly.

◉ Shimano Stella (’04) SW4000, 5000 HG/PG → S Cup.

◉ Shimano Stella 6000, 8000 FA (U.S.) and TwinPower 4000, 5000 HG/PG, Saragosa 5000SW–10000SW, and some Stella 3000/4000 FD → S Cup.

◉ Shimano New Stella (’08+) SW4000 XG/PG, SW5000–20000 → NS Cup.

◉ Shimano New TwinPower (’09+) SW4000 XG/PG, 5000–12000 HG → NS Cup.

◉ D Cup often fits reels labeled “S” in the Japan Daiwa catalog for sizes 1500–4000 (note: “S” is a knob-size label; shaft length and bearing sizes still determine whether you need a 30 mm or 40 mm knob). If your Daiwa reel is labeled “L,” consider a 45 mm or 45 mm Type II knob.

◉ Trinidad A-Series: remove the original knob and measure the two internal bearing ODs:

◑ 9 mm & 9 mm → NS Cup
